The BLHI Tool Box site was my in-house solution to a centralized resource hub for all of BL Harbert's most-accessed files.
In the year before our formal Intranet solution was up and running, the company needed a localized place to easily find frequently used documents and forms from BLHI's main departments. Stake holders originally suggested paying a third party to craft a costly custom-coded UI for this purpose. I suggested that the end goal could be achieved by utilizing a simple Squarespace site with some custom imagery and clear information architecture that would link our users directly to the files they needed on our Box platform. For a fraction of the cost of an outside source, I crafted the Tool Box site solution which was quickly adopted and widely referenced by employees.
